Introduced by Reed & Barton in 1907. Silverware quickly became a favorite of nobility and presidents. This Renaissance-inspired flatware pattern has an ornate handle that is decorated with voluminous scrollwork, leaves, blossoms, and fruit.
Is an exquisite example of silver artisanship. This place setting is finely crafted and detailed and made of marked sterling silver. The pieces all have the older Reed & Barton mark and we believe the set to date from the early 20th century.The set is composed of the following: 1 New French/Hollow Knife - 9" long (weighted handle) 1 Fork - 7-1/8" long, 61 grams 1 Individual Salad Fork - 6" long, 37 grams 1 Teaspoon, 5-7/8" long, 35 grams 1 Round Bowl Soup Spoon - 5-7/8" long, 42 grams 1 Flat Handle Butter Spreader - 5-7/8" long, 33 grams. CONDITION: The set presents well and is offered in very good, gently used antique condition, with minor wear, micro-scuffing, minor tarnish and patina.
